Incorrect posture
It is typical of an asthmatic child to hold his or her upper torso hunched. The lower abdomen is protruding, back is hunched, and shoulders are lifted and pushed forward. This posture forces the lung to limited functioning. In addition the surrounding ribs will develop abnormally and chest deformities form.

Chest Deformities:
Barrel chest: lower ribcage angles outward.
Funnel chest: sunken breastbone.
Pigeon chest: protruding breastbone.

Minimal ability for resistance
The foundation of everything we do lay in the harmonic functioning of the lung. If that is hampered, then the child is subject to many dangers: airborne viruses, bacteria's.

We can go without food for weeks, without water for days, without air on the other hand we can live but a few minutes. Mother nature precisely formulates these functions in: time, volume and quality, but mankind doesn't always follow these rules. The healthy system is so simple! Everything starts with breathing.
The civilized man is not breathing, but merely "pent" which keeps him or her alive just barely. In a relaxed, sitting position we take approximately 20 breaths, half a liter at once. This is absolutely incorrect.
To be healthy one needs ten to twelve intermediate grade inhalations. Along with it a complete breath of the lung minimum one per the hour.
I thought many people to breathe correctly already and without exception all of them had positive changes occur in their health and general live's.
It is fundamental to adopt conscious breathing that results in the following advantages:

Lack of fear
Children who breathe incorrect get insufficient oxygen and develop inner fears. If a child gets reduced amount of air, he will develop inner phobias that is a natural reaction. As an adult they often become worrisome and unsure of them selves.
Everybody can learn the conscious breathing with the help of FIT5 breathing exercises. Breathing is the kind of power source that is always available and lends confidence.

Calmness
The conscious breathing trains the mind as well. If you are disturbed your breathing is also erratic. When you calm your breathing your mind becomes at ease. The breathing that is conscious, deep, and completely ventilating gives the proper amount of oxygen to the blood, revitalizes the body, clear mind and thoughts resulting from it.

Disease-free life
With the proper control of your breathing your immune system gets stronger and guarantees respiratory disease-free life. The healthy lung tissue is resistant to airborne bacteria's.

Better oxygen supply
During training the need for oxygen increases and breathing adopts to this. Breathing rate and the depth of breathing increases as the result of the increased demand placed on the lung. Strengthening of the force of inspiration, capacity increases, numbers of bronchioles involved in breathing also increase as a result and gas exchange is taking place at a greater surface area.

Longer lifespan
Growing vital capacity, in other words your lung is capable of accepting more air with deeper breathing resulting in the lowered resting breathing rate. The "energy saving mode" if you will, causes slowing down of the aging process.

Better digestion
The diaphragm plays a great part in the training of the visceral organs. During inhalation keeps them pressed down while during exhalation it relieves the pressure from it.
