Does bad nutrition correlate with other disorders?
Yes.
Every breakdown in the correct functioning of the digestive tract can be traced back to the quality of nutrition: tooth decay, blunting of taste, excess gastric acid, bowel problems cause pain, frequent constipation leads to hemorrhoids, the kidneys weaken.
Insufficient nutrition has negative effects of vision as well.
Lack of adequate nutrition causes degeneration of the bony skeleton, loss of muscle mass and cardiovascular problems.
Stemming form the same reason aesthetic problems also accumulate such as blemished skin and eczema.
Food allergies develop with symptoms of itching and rash.
All these are topped with psychological disturbances. Distorted body shape leads rise to lack of self confidence in a wide range of children.

What are causes of the bad diet habits development?
One half of the problem stems from the child's inability to recognize their body's signals and thus the development of correct eating and drinking order is lacking.
The other half is that the child's eating habits are shaped not by his or her needs but outside influences. These outside influences are:
- commercials: How much can we believe in them?,
- the age of fast food: How to relate to frozen and ready food items?
- the popularity of fast food restaurants: How should we oversee what our children are eating while outside the house?
- and the overestimation of the prices of healthy food: Is eating healthy more expensive?
Now I will elaborate on these.

Which are the childhood weight problems?
Emaciation
At the ages from ten to fourteen hormonal changes cause the body to go through a growth spurt. If the child gains weight slowly it can result in emaciation. During which the child does not receive the nutrients necessary for proper growth and the bony growth is not followed by the increase in muscle mass.
Do not force the child to eat because that can lead to lack of appetite. Increasing the size of the portion is not a good idea either, instead give smaller portions in shorter intervals. It should contain high energy fats and carbohydrates but don't miss the appropriate to weight ratio of protein. Vitamins and minerals also play an important role in growth so pay attention to them as well.

Obesity
Adult obesity can begin in childhood. Nowadays we see more and more obese children. The predisposition for obesity can be inherited thus if one or both of the parents are obese the chances are that the child can become obese as well.
At ages ten to fourteen as a result of hormonal changes a growth spurt takes place. During which time if the child gains a lot of weight it could put a stamp on their future since they most likely to stay obese.
Weight problems are multiplied by emotional fiascos as well. Children are more direct and cruel with each other than adults. A fat kid is labeled, left out from play, mocked because they are clumsy and move slowly.
Do not starve the child! Starving diets are not healthy for adults not to mention children! A practice like that could remove essential nutrients from the daily diet that otherwise are desperately needed for the proper functioning of the body. It is not advisable to withhold nutrients from the developing body.
The reducing of the portions is fundamental.

Reduction of the high calorie, high fat and sugar containing food items as well. Incorporate food that is lower in calories with higher in bulk so bigger portions can be given. Fibers and bulky materials fill the child's stomach, won't stay hungry: give them a lot of vegetables, fruits, and vegetable dishes. Naturally it is also important to keep adding protein as well as they are needed for muscle mass and vitamins, minerals as well.

What are the advantages of the perfect diet?
The goal is that the child should realize them selves what foods have what effects on their body and digestion. If they don't want to eat something, don't eat it just because it is there on the table.
It is said that "you are what you eat". It is so true: the state of our body is the result of how we live our lives. What we eat has an effect on every cell in our body, even our thoughts and the way we feel are influenced by it. Regular and nutritious meals will improve a child's digestion and metabolism. The obese will lose weight, the skinny will gain muscle mass and the normal body composition will continue to be normally developing.
The right diet requires less energy for digestion. Since there is mote energy left, the child will be fresher for studying.
A lot of disorders can be prevented with the right diet, since the body gains a solid base which will not permit pathogens to gain entry.
